That follows lunch break, which is after soda and juice break, which is after second coffee, after breakfast, first juice, and first coffee. It's so hot and kind of oppressive you realize why people in these climates break up the day fairly ritually and frequently. I pick a job, try to get it done, then either lay flat on the floor of the cabin with breeze blowing through or make myself some kind of drink.

So I sympathize with the guys who STILL AREN'T DONE RAMP but I wish they would be. It's saturday and they're still at it, so that's encouraging...

Ran the engine at charging rpm most of that 8 hrs, to top up batteries for my harbour stay and also with intent of emptying tank to lighten the boat for the lift. Overshot a little; as I dropped the sails outside the breakwater the engine died so I had to quickly hoist and sail a loop while pouring a few litres in the tank from a jerry can.

Got boat anchored battleship-like, lots of ground tackle out for and aft (like 5:1 forward anchor, 10:1 stern) in case she has to sit for a bit...
