Turtle Bay

At 7:00AM the large group of Baja Ha Ha boats (140) left Turtle Bay for a two day sail (2 nights) to Bahia Santa Maria. We had a good time in Turtle Bay, which consists of a small town with some services: internet, beer, food, and fun. We took a long walk along the biggest stretch of beach I have every seen. And enjoyed a beach party where we ate the rest of our fresh Tuna.
Four Points is ready to go and everything is secure. We are rested up and excited because the forecast is 15 to 23 kts of NW wind. This means we will be sailing downwind. We do not have a spinnaker or gennaker for downwind sailing but have opted for a wisker pole and our large Genoa setting the main "wing and wing". We have decided to leave the anchorage with our main sail doubled reefer (reduced size) because it is always easier to shake a reef out than put one in during strong wind.
