We checked out of Langkawi and headed for Thailand planning to take a few days to get there. The first day to us 20 nm across to Koh Lipe and to a morning that we had been told about. Nice calm night with some current running but no problems. Already we were starting to get into Thai time.
Departed Telaga at 1200hrs motor sailed for a while then we had some wind from the NE before some rain. Had a great sail all the way to Koh Lipe in Thailand. We are on a mooring on the west side of the main island.

We decided to head back towards the mainland because the wind was on the nose and blowing 25knots. We had been given an anchorage in the Bulan Channel so we headed for there. We arrived at around 16.00hrs, anchored and jumped in the dingy to explore. Very quite, monkeys on the shore and a fishing store on a little beach that contained heaps of nets. There were a couple of other yachts in the small anchorage and we were joined by 6 fishing boats that were waiting for the sun to go down before they headed off squid fishing.

Departed the Bulan channel for Koh Kradan at 0800hrs. So far the sailing has been excellent and we are due to arrive at 1600hrs.
Arrived Koh Kradan at 1515hrs.
Motor sailed the last 5 miles.
