VHF Chaos....

Another great day of sailing with around 150+ miles covered in 24 hours - Ivan came within mobile phone range late morning. At 1115, they were about 45 miles from the Immigration check-in point at Sisters Island - not far from there to Keppel Bay Marina.
Ivan describes the chaos on VHF - many ships jockeying for position and all shouting and cursing in various forms of English! Sounds like the Tower of Babel...
Roy at Keppel Bay Marina has given me the address of a place to buy sail repair materials so I will pay them a visit on Monday morning.
ETA is now about 1700 at Sisters Island if the conditions continue as is - good wind and flat water. So looks like I will be having dinner with them tonight assuming my flight is on time.... looking forward to some spicy pepper crab and a few beers!
