Happy Birthday Diane

As we approached Dana Point, we saw my sister, Diane, and Jim waving to us and taking our photos. We arrived at Dana West Yacht Club at 3:30 PM. Diane and Jim came to pick us up and take us to their home in San Juan Capistrano. We stayed with them for 3 nights and the weather was warm and beautiful.
The next day we drove to Julian in the Cuyamaca mountains east of San Diego. This was a gold mining town in the 1870's and is now famous for its apple orchards. We walked around town, had lunch and apple pie, enjoyed a western skit presented by locals, and then visited a winery.
Diane and Jim had a gift certificate for the Natural Healthcare Center in Laguna Beach so Diane and I went for the Rejuvination and Detoxification Circuit for a new experience. It included turbosonic full body vibration with oxygen, detox foot bath, dry hydrotherapy massage, infrared sauna, and we were given alkalanized water to drink during the whole circuit. Eric and Jim moved FULL:SHELL to the Dana Point Yacht Club for the next 2 nights. We are taking advantage of our Encinal Yacht Club membership in Alameda which gives us 2-3 free nights at reciprocating yacht clubs. Jim took us to The Fisherman's Seafood Restaurant on San Clemente pier for cocktails and dinner to celebrate Diane's birthday. It turned cold and foggy as we ate outside under the heaters but a good time was had by all. We finished the visit up with a game of Mexican Train. We had a great time and it was a nice change of pace after being on the boat for the past month and a half. Next stop is San Diego.
