Agua Verde

We left Honeymoon Cove 7/22/11 and arrived at Agua Verde at 1:30 pm (22 miles south). This is a small fishing village connected to Mexico Hwy. 1 by a 25 mile dirt road. They also have goat dairies and we could see the goats wandering the hillsides. There were no more than 3 or 4 boats there during our stay. When we were here in April it was packed with boats, mostly participants of the Baja ha ha.
We had fun jumping in the water, etc. We met the Bunt family (Francisco, Donahi, Jonathan and Patrick) on Libertad, anchored next to us and ended up spending the evening on their boat for wonderful cheese and drinks. They were from Mexico City but have lived in Montreal, Canada for the past year. The boys were 12 and 13 years old, so Gerrit had a great time. Grandpa and his girlfriend, Francisco and Susan, were also on board from Acapulco.
The next day we snorkeled around Roca Solitaria and saw beautiful fish, starfish, sea urchins, and plant life. We took the dinghy exploring the shore and caves.
