This is an image of our current weather forecast and position tonight from Zygrib. It's not very clear but you get the idea. We have also moved our clocks back and on board time is now minus two (-2) hours UTC.
We are still doing pretty well with the wind and also the sun has made it's appearance in the last two days with daytime temperatures rising to 25 degrees. We have been doing about 140nm a day and, after 27 days at sea, expect to be in Fortaleza around midday on Friday.
Soooooo sorry to family and friends about the shortage of photos since we left Cape Town. Our comms systems is slow and very costly to transmit large files. We use Skyfile via an Iridium data connection cable to receive and transmit information which is great for plain text. Sending or receiving large images can use over 200 very expensive minutes of satellite phone 'airtime' and even then they sometimes get lost in cyberspace, never to be seen again. We have loads of photos which we will be able to upload once we get an internet connection at Fortaleza.
