Moving north

I was walking up the hill in Colimilla to drop off my laundry and came across little Christopher(he is my little helper who helped me with painting his mothers lavanderia). His mother informed me that he was having his third birthday. So I dropped off my laundry and hurried back to my dinghy and drove over to Barra where there was a big flea market. I found a new soccer ball that was in my budget and bought it for Christopher. I also got a cinnamon roll at the panaderia and went back to the boat to put that together with some Jelly Bellies and chocolate. When I went back up to Christophers, I gave him his swag and sang Happy Birthday to him in English. He said muchas gracias and he, his sister and another friend took off for the new soccer field a block from his casa.
It was time to start heading north and to say my goodbyes. I had a nice dinner at Yoanas house and she is the recipient of my Chinese knockoff/clone of the Samsung Galaxy S5. I said goodbye to all the girls and guys at Marys restaurant. I took most of them out to my boat to show them the horrible condition for which I live. They really enjoyed seeing my boat and the ride out in my dinghy. I did an initial cleaning of my boat bottom so I could get some decent movement through the water. I sailed 40 miles to the north to Chamela/Punta Perula and cleaned the bottom real good for the rest of the passage to La Paz. Left Chamela and had a wonderful sail and a little motoring to La Cruz/Puerto Vallarta. I anchored in the La Cruz anchorage and have taken the bus into P.V. twice....once for a Costco run and once for people watching in old town/centro/malecon. Then I took the bus today to Nuevo Vallarta, home of Paradise Village. Tomorrow morning I will weigh anchor to go out to Punta Mita for one day and then sail around the point and head up to Chacala for a couple of days. I'm trying to pick a good weather window for Mazatlan.
