Beware! Things That Go

We arrive at Laxe in darkness. Hmmm...That's always when it seems like you're looking at the wrong page in the Reeds Almanac. Where is that blasted pontoon?
To make things a little more interesting, I discover there are also about 8 very small rowing boats dotted in every direction. All, of course, are fishing in complete darkness. None bother to show a flashlight to make it easy for us to identify their whereabouts. They may not be on fishing trawlers, but they are fishing...I guess those taxi driver laws apply again.
I had only been suddenly aware of their presence because I heard some splashing noises near our boat so I went up to the bow to look about. As I put a torch in the direction of the noise, I saw two guys rowing on our port side, then I did a 'sweep' and saw all the others.
No problemo, mon amigo. Once through this minefield of sorts, we decide to just anchor off the pier and get a few hours sleep. We plan to be up at 4am because we want to get to our next planned port (Portosin) before tomorrow's nightfall.
