GHOST

So after a few days of very rough seas and a few issues to go with it we have emerged into the top of a high that's seen the wind drop and the seas calm. I guess we where too optimistic of a simple, fast but calm passage, especially since everyone that we know that has done this passage has always commented on how rough it can be, indeed for many the roughest they've seen.

So with that behind us, it means SHOWERS!!! Kat braved the elements the other day but I was comfortable in my grime and with my odor but with blue skies, sunshine and a few hundred spare litres of water... Kat made me take one! Moreover it means we have moved off the diet of pre-cooked lasagna (that ran out yesterday lunchtime), power bars and ham and cheese wraps and onto Kat's normal gourmet menu of salads for lunch and something special for dinner, always preceded by sundowner canapés. So with armpits fresh, bellies full and less than 400 nauticals to go, spirits are up!!!
