Hi folks, well we have now been here a week, and have a week to go before our big departure for NZ. Our jobs list for the boat had 37 items on it when we arrived and is now down to 11 items - many of which can't be done till our departure so its time to relax at last. I'm quite looking forward to the arrival of my mate Phil tomorrow - I first met him back in 1992 when he and his buddies ransacked my room on my first night in halls of residence, so watch out fella, it's been a long time but revenge will be sweet!!! Neil & Emma came back earlier after 4 days away on one of the other islands, and are already in my bad books - the light in the heads (toilet) has been left on draining the batteries, which is why I am up now at 0330 with the generator on charging them again - kids!!!! As for Fiji well it's a very friendly place although apart from the Yacht Club and Suva city centre I have yet to see much of it. There is a cracking cinema in town, and I went to see the new James Bond a couple of nights ago which was great - it is also a very cheap place, the taxi into town, cinema ticket, popcorn, coke & ice cream and then taxi back to the boat was 6 pounds in total! So that's about it, the batteries are almost charged again so I can go back to sleep and god help the kids if they wake me too early this morning!
