Well the roller coaster ride that is sailing Christiania continues today. The wind has decided to blow from exactly where we want to go, so we are hard on it, heeled over and banging into the waves. Water is spraying everywhere and Terry has just got soaked whilst helming by a huge wave that covered the whole boat - he kept smiling throughout and has just said that this is great; so I think he definitely has the requisite screw missing to become a sailor! He has also managed to stand upright for more than 1 minute at a time so good on you fella! We have 102 miles left to go, and have just heard from Opua Marina that they have a berth for us for a couple of nights which is a huge relief as none of us where relishing the thought of having to anchor. Some sad news is that although my mothers arm is healing nicely and has been properly set, the Dr wants further x- rays on the 15th to ensure it is healing in the correct fashion, so both mum & pops will not be at our arrival into Auckland, you will both be missed. Emma has made an apple crumble for dinner tonight; I'm not sure whether it is to use up the fruit or as an early treat for Neil as it's his birthday tomorrow. I think its time to head back on deck, and enjoy the spray and sailing of the last 24 hours before NZ.
