The picture is the rough fit of my template for the v-berth cabinet. I got a great deal on the teak doors and have always wanted to turn the v-berth shelf into a cabinet. Since the doors are solid, it was suggested I add some vents. I had an issue with using some black walnut in another part of the boat (thinking it was teak, don't ask), so this time I decided to use black walnut vents on purpose. I've used the template to cut the cabinet front out of 1/2" Baltic Birch, which I'm now covering with teak veneer. Hopefully I'll have a finished picture soon.
