Old Age Strikes Again...

I'm not sure who is having more issues getting older, me or S/V Godspeed. I've been fighting knee issues for the last several weeks, which worries me since I cannot retire for just under 10 years ( just 3541 days).
S/V Godspeed on the other hand has had fuel tank issues (leaking) and refrigerator problems (still not fixed). The worst thing was the screws which the PO had used to attach on side of the swim ladder brackets (instead of the original machine screws and nuts). The screws ripped out of the deck for the third time and I decided to fix it once and for all. I added a 1/8"x4"x24" stainless steel backing plate, 4 new #12 machine screws/nuts and 2 brand new deck hinges (OH,and bronze bushings for the deck hinge pins). Thankfully, after 3 weeks the ladder is back on the boat and the water is still warm enough to swim.
The temporary fuel tank is almost installed and I'm close to giving up on the refrigerator. Sounds about like a normal day in paradise....
Cheers,
Rick
P.S. I forgot to mention that S/V Godspeed got a bottom job and a wax. The picture is before the painting was finished and no wax on her yet. When it was finished she looked great... She may be stuck in the slip, but she's purty...
