Heading for Portobello
04 August 2007 | Colon, Panama
Andrew
My mom informed me of some spelling errors on my post...moms will be moms. The fact is that my hands and fingers are quite SORE, so my typing abilities are lacking. Especially on a tiny laptop with the boat is rocking back and forth.
After a lot of hard work, we are finally leaving for the southern part of Panama. We plan to sail down to Portobello later this morning and then arrive in the San Blas islands by tomorrow.
Chris and I are very anxious to use the speargun and eat some fresh fish, so the pressure is on. We had cocktails on "Wayfinder" last night. She is a motoryacht from Southern Cal, but has been up to Alaska and back. Nice owners with incredible equipment. "She takes too much diesal", says Andrew. Hopefully I'll sign on again soon, but it may be a few weeks. San Blas is quite remote and I don't know how to post via SSB radio yet.
No pirates to report as of yet.
