The Atlantic Rower, Victor Mooney of Queens, New York departed this morning towards New York City. During his stay in Charleston, the Spirit of Malabo received a number of additions - life raft, all around white light, 12 volt fan, clothing for current weather conditions, mosquito repellent, bimini tarp, and a cellular booster.
The Spirit of Malabo's berth in Charleston was supported by Charleston Maritime Center and Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina.
Mr. Mooney will follow the Inter-coastal waterway to Norfolk, Virginia. After advisement from his support team, he'll go outside (Atlantic Ocean) to New York.
