Victor Mooney of Queens, New York arrived at White Marlin Marina in Ocean City, Maryland today. Mr. Mooney successfully rowed across the Atlantic Ocean from the coast of Africa in memory of all those that died of AIDS, which includes his brother and to encourage voluntary HIV testing.

In a ten year period, Mr. Mooney made three attempts, which nearly cost him his life on multiple occasions. Now, the oarsmen is about one-hundred and fifty miles to New York's Brooklyn Bridge. The vessel, the Spirit of Malabo, will be donated to the United Nations.
