2 days ago: A big day on the water. 6 hours bashing south into a 25 + southerly. Plenty of green ones over the deck, and some interesting navigational challenges along the way.

We had Ingema, a new found friend, on our boat, and the kids jumped ship for the day.

We approached musket at dusk, and only just dropped anchor before the sun set.

Yesterday, I had a foil board in the bay with a 6metre kite and short lines, and i reckon it was gusting 25..

The landing back at the boat reminded me of an old war film , where the officers on the bridge of the air craft carrier were scanning the skies for aircraft that hadn't returned.. They turn away sadly, only to here a spluttering , mildly out of control, damaged fighter, limping back to the runway.

Bouncing a few times, and lurching to a halt.

Today, James and I joined the Hamaill family team for the Musket cove olympics; swimming, kayaking running and coconut throwing. We came away with the win.
