We sailed over to Marsh Harbour yesterday to attend the Christmas farmers market held here for the first time.
Unfortunately most of the goods were cooked breads and pies, preserves, and Christmas decorations.... Louise found some excellent herbs and vegetables from the one organic produce farmer that participated.

Our offer to purchase a lovely vacant lot south of Hopetown ( a 15 minute walk) has been accepted, so we will begin the long process to complete the transaction immediately, and hope to have things finalized before our departure in early April.... It is only a 1/2 acre lot with great elevations, west facing for the sunsets over the Sea of Abacos, shared waterfront and community dock, and mature mahogany trees.....

Another construction project!

It will be an interesting challenge designing something elegant for such a place... and much more fun than simply purchasing an existing building.
