A warm and sunny Friday in Bermuda

The pink building is the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, which is situated in downtown Hamilton. We are on a dock just to the left of the picture.
Today, Friday, has been a slow day for both Chick and I, as we seem to be just plain tired. We started our morning by enjoying a coffee on Great Habit with Sheelagh, who gave us an update on her efforts here in Bermuda. She is an amazing woman doing amazing work! After doing some laundry we walked to the grocery store to pick up a few things for lunch. Then Chick did a longer walk to buy a fuel filter for the boat and a new lure to catch that "big" fish on the next passage. I had a little snooze while he was gone.
I twisted my knee Monday night getting off the plank we were using to get on to the boat in St. Georges and have been slowed down substantially. Thanks Maureen for taking me on as a long distance patient! Every day is better but I am impatient for it to be mended. It is amazing how almost every movement on the boat involves a twist of the knee!
Chick has been working at getting the boat back together after the passage. Every nook and cranny needs to be opened, inspected, washed and repacked - both inside and out. We are supposed to get gale force winds on Sunday and Monday with heavy rain showers so that should give us a chance to finish cleaning the inside of the boat. It is sure nice to be in a well protected marina for this weather forecast!
We miss our family and friends and hope everyone is well. It is so quiet here without our crew.
