Much of Dominica is rainforest and it is incredibly lush. This picture of one of the many waterfalls does not really do it just but nonetheless it does give you a sense of how beautiful it is - hiking on long trails through the rainforest is one of the main attractions.
Quick post. We left Portsmith this morning and had a great sail to the top end of Guadeloupe. The wind was actually on our hind quarter for most of the sail - first time this year and it was very pleasurable as the sun was shining and the swell was not too large. We are anchored for the night and will carry on to Jolly Harbour Antiqua tomorrow.
We enjoyed our time in Portsmith and will follow up with a few stories and pictures when we get settled in Antigua. The connection here is weak so will not push our luck chatting with you too long!
