Arrived Antigua

The wind has settled and we have enjoyed a couple nights of calm sleeping in Antigua. What we didn't expect was that without the wind it is so much warmer and now we find ourselves complaining about that!! Of course when we hear that you have had another snow storm in PEI we are reminded of how very privileged we are to be here.
The sail up to Antigua was similar to our trip 6 years ago with following winds in the 10-15 knot range and seas that were almost non-existent. So, it would seem the Christmas winds have finally settled. This will be good for Brenda's visit as we will now head out and do some of the more interesting little anchorages around Antigua.
Also happy to report that Moyra and Ian (the couple we spent and enjoyable Christmas with) are every bit as hospitable as before and had us over for dinner last night. They make it feel like we have come home!
We are out in the anchorage so internet connections are not available from the boat. Today is a land day that includes laundry, lunch, emailing, checking in the marina office about storage and groceries.
We will get some pictures up in the next few days. Be well everyone.
