Newton and I were enjoying a 3.5 mile walk in the pouring rain, when I received a text from Greg to get back to the boat ASAP. Greg sad we had to leave the dock; choices were to go back into the canal or get south of the federal lock. We decided to go south to avoid any chance of being stuck in the locks for a long period. I was soaked through my rain gear, so much for doing it's job. We headed for Albany and stayed at the Albany Yacht Club.
