Finally we are in North Carolina, but it is still so cold! It was only a 17 mile leg and cold, at times we could still see the snow in the shade. There was dredging going on halfway and the pipeline went on and on and on. It seemed at times when the depth sounder read 4.5ft that we were just pushing our way through! Took Newton for a 2 mile walk after we arrived. We decorated while we were in Norfolk, VA and I guess you could say we are getting ino the holiday spirit. We have snow, cold, and decorations! Again, did I mention the cold - we thought it would get warmer as we made our way south!
