Short day, about 20 miles in 3 hours. At Snow's Cut the current was swift and against us and when we reached the Cape Fear River the current was extremely swift and with us, we saw 9.5 kts for awhile. After we turned west off the river into the ICW channel, the current was once again against us. We arrived at St James Marina just after noon and the sun was shinning. We were treated to a wonderful home cooked meal and hospitality from Peter and Carol Urgola. It was good to see friends from OOYC again!
