Thanks for the Sunshine!

It was 23 degrees F out when we left the dock, NW wind 10-15kts, but the sun was shinning! We are on the move again after waiting out the snow, sleet and freezing rain earlier this week. It's amazing, schools were closed with less than an inch of snow! The Waccamaw R is a nice deep, scenic, curving river. We saw some bald eagles! Then we entered the area where the Pee Dee R, Waccamaw R, Sampit R and Winyah Bay all meet, the currents were swift and we made our way to Boat Shed Marina in Georgetown, SC. Newton and I warmed up by taking a walk through this charming, historic town.
