A nice day, departed after 10 AM, it gave the frost a chance to melt and the temps to rise a bit. We made good time, the current was with us on Winyah Bay, then against us when we turned into the Estherville Minim Creek Canal. We traveled the canal and saw an old ferry, many birds, and traversed Minim Creek, N & S Santee Rivers and continued on Fourmile Creek Canal to Leland Marina in McClellanville, SC, arriving before 2:30. This is a charming, quiet, moss draped trees, traditional southern community.
