There's plans and then there's the weather!

We got down the river , over the Charente bar at Fouras and out into the sea in fine style. Then the wind went to the North and rotted up all the planning. I was left with only one sensible option, poke off West to St. Denis D'Oleron (Moules Frites capital of the western world) where I and my little netsui friend are sitting out a forecast force 7.

Extra:	Greydove is a mk3/4 Heavenly Twins highly modified with straight stems and a high aspect ratio fully battened modern catamaran rig with an 11 metre mast. She goes! (for an old girl anyway). Sailing around the Forth, West Coast and Western Isles of Scotland with a scuba diving skipper we have [...] visited many remote and beautiful places. After sailing in the Irish Sea for a while, we went south to explore the West coast of France. Grey Dove spent 8 years in Rochefort exploring the bay of Biscay, the Morbihan, the Gironde and Canal de Midi to the Med. before returning to the Firth Of Forth for a well earned refit. Currently exploring the historic ports around the East of Scotland and having a great time doing it. More
