Havre de Grace Day 2
15 July 2015
With the threat of bad storms, we elected to stay moored at Tidewater Marina in Havre de Grace one more night. That gave us a chance to do some routine chores and again stop in the local grocery to pick up any needs.
This marina is quite friendly and well equipped. They allowed us the use of a courtesty car with no time limits so we went to lunch and did a quick tour of the town before heading back to the boat.
We got to facetime with our grandchildren and it was a treat that Ian (our oldest) asked so many questions and wanted us to show him what a mooring ball looked like. So.....for those of you that do not know, we have taken this beautiful picture of a mooring ball so that you too can understand what it means to be "moored".
We will head out today, get some fuel and then on to Greg's old stomping grounds on the Elk River.
