Merry Christmas
25 December 2015
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
With all the hustle and bustle of the day even here for us, I just want to say a couple of thanks to all who made THIS our Christmas.
First to our families.......if it were not for your support and understanding, this would not have been the same for either of us. We love you all and wish you a day of love and surprises!
This is not the easiest of times to be away from any of our family as holidays are always a special time of large gatherings.
Jenny......you know this has been your Dads dream for years and we both appreciate you supporting us in it. Thanks for playing Gigi and PopPops role this year.
Michael and Erika, while I married into this dream, we both appreciate your understanding of us making it. Thank you for being our banker and for sending photos of the most beautiful grandchildren in the world.
Dad, thanks for the Cristmas story and for always being positive when I call. We love you.
To Ray, Laura, Mark, Peggy, Tina, Harold, Sylvia and Carlo......thanks for the support......the Eagles scores (though always bad news)....for the updates on your families and for being the best siblings we could ask for.
To our friends at Regent Point, without the encouragement and stories from those who have made this trip before, we could not have been prepared for all of this. There are so many of you that I don't want to attempt to name them all, but I must thank a few who were hands on when getting ready for this trip.
Special thanks to Fernando and Judy for their help in bringing Ti Amo to her new home this year. Thanks to Pete, Doug, Arona, George, Franki, Barry, Robin, Jim and Gretchen for the welcoming when we sailed her into Regent.
Jim, Gretchen, Jake (we still see that smile when he talked about his trips), Kay, George and Franki, thank you, thank you, thank you. This was beyond our belief. Your encouraging words are the ones that got this dream into motion.
To Barry and Robin.......without you two, Ti Amo would not have been ready to sail on the 17th of October. Barry our electronics have been great and Greg is enjoying his AIS. Robin, the countless hours you spent helping me seal up packages and stow on the boat as well as grocery shop.......those were fun days even though it was work. And thank you for checking on Fletcher for me.
To Tom and Barbara......thank you for taking care of our home and making it your own while we are gone. We hope you are enjoying it as much as we are enjoying this trip.
To our friends at home......Danielle and Bryan .......thanks for taking care of the big guy for me (as always)......Leigh and Bob for keeping us in prayers and thoughts and for being the best neighbors I could EVER have asked for......Cindy and Lenny.....our new neighbors......what can I say......we are so glad to have you guys. Hope the new pup adjusts to Rappa Run life and we look forward to meeting.
And to our fellow Arc3 Gases employees/family.....we wish you all a wonderful Christmas and thank you all for the support and encouragement you have offered as we have been readying for this for over a year.
Well ...... There are so many I have not mentioned, but you all know you have played a role in this trip thank you and Merry Christmas to you all.
