Awaiting Jen
18 January 2016
Well yesterday we brought Dani and Bryan back to Nassau in what at first seemed a delightful sail. We were 7 knots or better under sail with winds at 20-25 knots. We were actually loving that we could sail and enjoy this last bit of time with our guests. Then ......it got dicey. The winds started picking up more to 30 and gusting to 38 and 40. The closer we got to Nassau, we could see a storm passing through. Well.....we had four crew members to help bring Ti Amo safely into her slip and what a fine job they did.
Chewie had a bit of a "ruff" day. He could not get outside as we were heeled over too far. Dani and Bryan (being without their two) took on the job of holding and calming him down.
Dani and Bryan headed on to their next stop and I hope a bit of relaxiation after that nail biting sail. It was great to have them with us and we wish them safe travels home. They will be missed. Now we will stay close to Nassau as Jen comes in Friday night.
