Well yesterday was a grey day.....it rained most all day long so we found ourselves working on boat oil changes and other stuff. After the night of battling the wind and anchorage, it was nice to have a day to unwind a bit.

We had made reservations at the Jib Room for dinner as it was Rib Nite. We were beginning to think that we would not make it in as the rain and winds were steady for most of the day. A week ago we were complaining because we had not seen any rain. Well, the boats are free of salt now so we are ready for some sunshine.

As luck would have it, the rain let up about 5:00 and we headed into the Jib Room for our 7:00 meal. What a meal it was. Huge plate of ribs (best I have EVER had) and then another plate with veggies and bread. That was not my choosing, they hand you a separate plate for the ribs. :)

After dinner, there was some Rake and Scrape music. I got to participate with an old fashioned saw and screwdriver. I had a blast! But the big entertainment was the limbo line. There were little ones and then adults and teenagers all participating. The teenagers were telling us that they had been doing this every year here on their vacation so that is why they did it so well. The highlight and end of the limbo line was by the gentlemen in the picture. He doused the bar with alcohol and lit it and what entertainment he provided. It was great fun!
