Moored at Man O War
06 April 2016
AFter a delightful sail, we came into the harbor of Man O War. AFter having a few issues with the auto pilot, we finally moored on the eastern side of the mooring fields. You can tell by the number of boats that most folks are on their journey home and like us getting in those last minute explorations before departing.
Greg, Chewie and I went into town for a little stroll and enjoyed an ice cream cone at Sip and Dip. We sat and enjoyed a little free wifi while enjoying the cones. After a little shopping and stretching our legs we headed back to the boat to plan for dinner.
A huge thank you to Euleta and Ross again for our stone crab claws. We had a delightful salad and the stone crab meat with a nice remoulade sauce and a glass of white wine. Delightful.
After a night of 30+ knot winds, this morning is not much different. We may stay put for today as we may have trouble getting out of this harbor at low tide and with the "Nor'easter" the tides are exceptionally low.
