This morning we were up at 6:15 to log into Chris Parkers weather review so we could ask about our crossing. We have missed the first opportunity and seems we will need to wait till at least the first of next week as there is a frontal system in the states that would keep us from being able to get above Florida.
We have had two schools of thought. We have dear friends Hank and Mil at Bald Head Island in a week so if we can only cross to Florida and work our way up then we may be able to spend time with them. The other school of thought which is what the boys are hoping for is to catch the Gulf Stream and get as far north as they can with a four day passage.
Either I believe would be a win as long as we have crossed and we are back in the states safely.
Now that I have resigned myself to the fact that we are leaving, let's get going. How fickled is that? One day I don't want to leave, the next....let's go. Oh well.....stuck in Treasure Cay today, hoping to move a little north here in the Bahamas to position ourselves for the day the window opens up for departure.
