Lazy days and rainy days
07 July 2018
We all need one now and again. We had a chop on the water with wind gusts in upper 20's. Lynn and I are busy reading as the boys find boat chores and a morning nap the thing to do. A storm rolls through early and just when you think there cannot be more, it comes again. By 3 o'clock it was over and we were all set to go into town for our final trip.
We decided we would have to try the chowda at the Chowder House before leaving so that was the plan. In a taste test comparison we each had a different type.....one corn....one clam...another haddock chowder and the fourth was lobster (we all knew who ordered that).
Hands down Lynn's had the most lobster or any we had seen as did Thom with the haddock, but I loved the clam chowder the best.
Back at Ti Amo we have a small salad and leftovers for dinner as the fridge was packed full of bits and pieces. A delightful end to the day and on to our next destination.
