Bus 6 to Brown Mountain will arrive at Northeast Harbor Pier at 9:00 and leave at 9:15. With that departure, we are scheduled to get to Bar Harbor by 9:35 where we pick up our tour bus which leaves at 10:00. These buses operate on a tight schedule and if you miss one you will wait 30 minutes for the next one. We fortunately made all of our connections and load a full bus of forty folks that will go on our guided tour up to Cadillac Mountain, around Jordan Pond, to Bubble Rock and more.

With fog being the main ground cover up this way, we are anticipating that the trip will not be as glorious as we had hoped, but you take that chance. There is absolutely nothing more breathtaking than to be up on Cadillac Mountain and looking down on Bar Harbor with the fog on the top of the islands in the harbor. It was so peaceful looking compared to the chaos we left there with all the tourists about two hours earlier.

Once our tour is complete, we head back to Bar Harbor for lunch and a hat for Greg then it is back to Northeast Harbor where we FaceTime with the grandchildren and get dinner aboard. Time to plan our trek home.
