Georgetown
12 January 2019
I think we will have to move like every other day as the sailing this year has been phenomenal compared to past years (at least for us). We left Lee Stocking Island around 0930 and headed further south.
We had a delightful ride to Georgetown where we anchored between Chat and Chill and Sand Dollar beach. There are a TON of boats here this year already and there are definitely more coming. I am assuming that a lot of folks come here and don’t ever move sort of like Marathon Florida. Hey....as pretty as it is and convenient to get food and water, who can blame anyone?
We quickly anchored and headed into town to check out the grocery store. There was not much in the way of fresh vegetables but I was able to get some romaine lettuce. That is always a necessity with our love of Caesar salads. We saw Dagny anchored and stopped to speak to them a bit and when we got into town we ran into Two Outrageous and stopped to have a beer with them on our way back to Ti Amo.
Jaxon enjoyed his trip to town and all of the locals enjoyed seeing him. He is about due for another trim. I think the barber will be setting up shop today for both he and Greg.
