Sunday was all about the football so we were free up until 4:00 when the Eagles game was going to be on television. I immediately thought about Paul and Laurie’s friend in Georgetown that runs the restaurant at Exuma Yacht Club. He has a burger and a beer special and that would be a great lunch venue.

We all head in about noon for our burger and a beer. The crossing is not as rough as yesterday as the winds are lying down more today. We are to have light and variable tonight which is good and bad. You tend to love a little breeze when you are sleeping but it sure makes for a nicer day on the water.

So.....the burger and beer special on Sundays happens to start at 3:00 which we did not know so we sat for a couple (3 to be exact) hours drinking beer and waiting for our burgers. It was a hoot. Jaxon was with us as it was an outdoor venue (as most of the restaurants are) and he could enjoy the scenery with us. He was a hit with the young man who helped at the marina as he saw Jaxon as a “chic magnet”.....LOL. Oh well without a lot of success he still was kind enough to take Jaxon for a walk while we enjoyed those three hour burgers which were BTW worth the wait.

Back to Ti Amo for the ballgame (sadly Eagles lost) and a little television before calling it a night.
