Last Full Day
28 January 2019
We pull up the anchor after a leisurely breakfast and head back out through Glass Cay Cut. The weather has changed a bit. The wind is stronger and right on our nose. We had about a 12 1/2 miles to go to make the Conch Cay Cut but we wanted to pull into The Marina at Emerald Bay and take on some fuel and fill a water tank. The entrance was easy but once inside the winds would kick up and we need to wait for a boat to finish fueling before we could get on the dock. Within that basin Greg would do figures eights or just go round and round waiting for our turn. Once in we began fueling......it was funny that they sell water but have not one hose to fill from. We connected four hoses together to reach our fill port. We took on 82 gallons of fuel and 82 gallons of water. What a coincidence!
Dinner reservations were made at Peace and Plenty for four but when arriving in Georgetown Harbor, we connect with Two Outrageous for a wonderful anchoring spot. They are anchored for the potential weather just outside Peace and Plenty and we pull in alongside after much ado about nothing. Paul teases us and says we are too close and that leads the captain questioning his anchorage choice. But then.....as usual Paul is just kidding. Safely anchored we call to change the reservations for six folks and we have appys and drinks aboard Ti Amo before heading in to shore.
Dinner was delightful with Lobster Spaghetti and Grouper. We head back to Ti Amo and shortly thereafter head to bed for the evening.
