Sometimes you just don’t want to leave
17 February 2019 | South Side Bay, Little Raggeds
We have found so many reasons to stay in this anchorage.....it is difficult to say goodbye. The boys headed out early and hunted while Greg led the girls snorkeling. A successful trip they had and smiles all around as the newest hunter had gotten a lobster.
We were at a gorgeous reef right in the anchorage snorkeling when Laurie spotted a lobster and he was pretty big. We waited for the boys to return to tell them so one could grab it for her. But he proved to be an elusive one and scuttled his way into deeper holes where he would dare you to try and get him. No problem.....we got others that look just like him and there is always tomorrow.
We will sit one more day at South Side Bay before heading to Hog Cay as with this weather the anchorage has proven to be a great spot for both snorkeling and hunting. I went beach combing on another beach and found another hamburger bean and twelve heart beans. Jaxon was my side kick as Greg and the girls went out with the hunters to snorkel more.
Jaxon has gotten so good about taking his bath that he just stands in the sink waiting patiently for me to get the towel or shampoo I have misplaced. We are continually testing his new found skills of “sit”, “give me your paw”, and “down”. Jen had worked so hard on these and she will be happy to see he is doing well with them.
