Wind, wind and more wind

If you recall, the Jumentos is a place you only want to visit in “settled” weather. But if you are going to have wind and it be in the 20 - 40 knot range, you most definitely would like it coming out of the east. Luckily for us that is just what we have and while it makes the water a little choppy, you can still get around the anchorage in your dinghy and get to shore.
Getting to shore was part of my plan as Laurie (2 Outrageous), Stacey (Delphina), Nancy (Rush N Blue) and I were going to go walk the trail Stacey and I had walked yesterday to the beach. It was fun finding it on our own and trying to follow the markers that were set out for the mile or so hike. Once at the beach, it was all about the sea beans. We four scoured the beach one more time and still came home with treasures. It was great fun until we hit the dinghys to head back. The sky opened up and the rain poured on us the entire ride home. Oh well.....it was still fun.
After finishing a bite of lunch I started to prepare an appetizer for the afternoon cocktails at the yacht club. I decided to kick it up a notch and make stuffed pepperoncinis. I used a little cream cheese, so bacon bits and a little Worcestershire sauce and mixed them together in a small quart sized baggie. I sliced an opening in each pepper and then cut the tip off of one end of the baggie and used it to “pipe” the filling into the peppers. I would say they were liked as the platter was cleaned before coming home.
Another night of guitars and singing......another lovely sunset......amongst another group of cruisers.
