My Staff

As I sit and think about all the stuff that needs to get done, I am reminded that it is that kind of thinking that got me to where I am today. With Greg already having a list of things he needed to get done in a day, I hated to ask him to pick up my slack, but he has always been one to say Have your staff do that for you. Well he just became "staff". The laundry needed to get finished. I had taken our clothes in and done them on Thursday but we still had sheets and towels to get done. Ms. Lee's laundromat only charges $10 a load if they do them for you so Greg went and dropped three loads of laundry in for us and they said it would be ready by 2:00. Perfect.
Next I was in search of Swiss cheese for sandwiches. When I had been to the store they said I could come back Thursday evening, it should be stocked then. It was not out Friday when I checked before heading to the doctor and Greg checked after droppiing the laundry off and it was still not out. My dear friend on Twilight Traveler, Vickie asked if there was anything I needed from town and sure enough the cheese was out when she got there. She, Ron and Ruby stopped it by on their way back to their boat.
Greg in the meantime is working on a fuel issue. We have been having to rely on one tank (the big one) since we picked up fuel a month ago at Emerald Bay. The vacuum gauge on the other two tanks would be in the red and the engine would fight to stay on as it sputters to a halt. We had wanted to have our fuel tanks scrubbed before leaving town but the yard was too busy so we took a chance to come without having it done. Well as it turns out, Greg pulled the fittings and found a ton of krud in the line that was preventing the fuel from getting to the Yanmar. Very happy that Greg is a hands on kind of guy that likes to figure and fix things himself.
Once cleanup was done he headed back to town to pick up our laundry and pick up another couple of items from town and then back to Ti Amo to rest and get cleaned up for dinner.
Seems the "staff" is doing well without me......don't know what I was worried about. Now I will do as my dear "cuz" Liz said and sit back.....read a bit....watch and enjoy nature. Thanks Liz......I am on it!
