Oopsea is in the Neighborhood
09 March 2019 | Williams Cay, Lee Stocking Island
Feeling better and need to get up and do "something". We were suppose to move to Barraterra but the wind and the sea are just not in agreement with that plan this morning so we will wait that move out another day.
After breakfast I decided we would call today a cleaning day. It is not that I have to do that but in doing that I am letting the captain know it is not time for him to be creating more messes with boat projects. The captain graciously volunteered to run the vacuum after I dusted and cleaned the bathrooms.
We heard from our friends Barry and Robin on Crossroads that they should be leaving Bimini on Sunday morning. It is exciting that they soon will be hanging with us a bit before we head to the Abacos. Speaking of people in the area, Oopsea has finally made its' way to Lee Stocking Island. It is funny as a friend and follower, Eric had mentioned them in an email to me. We officially laid eyes on them and hope to see a bit more of them in the coming days.
2 Outrageous, Oopsea and Lila May all came to our anchorage on their dinghys to walk the hill to the other side for a beach walk. They invited us down to their anchorage tonight for bon fire and cocktails. Our anchorage has grown to about eleven boats but there is still room even with seven of the boats being catamarans.
