Lunch Stop and on to Black Point

13 March 2019 | Black Point, Exumas

A full day......we left after taking a short dinghy ride through a lagoon into what appeared to be a resort of some type. The scenery on our way from Rudder Cut to Little Farmers Cay was breathtaking as we passed Musha Cay and its beautifully maintained grounds and Cave Cay with all its spledor. We had radioed to find out that Ty’s Grill was open for lunch at Little Farmers and Harvey was waiting for us when we got there. Quite a lovely place.....clean.....and great personnel.......but then again they are Ty’s brother and sister......they are all great.

After filling up on laughter and food at the bar, we head on to Black Point where we hope to get some laundry done during the expected “blow”. Once we arrive we see Greg Kenly from Ondine and Juan on another 47 Caliber and even the crew of Seaquel, a 40 Caliber. We rush into Scorpios where they are all having drinks to say a quick hello. It is happy hour from 4-7 and the place is crowded. With not much space around them, we sit with a couple from Appleton Wisconsin of all places. This guy knew the Miller family and had done work for one of the daughters back in the day. Small world for certain.

With a late lunch .... we only needed a snack for dinner and then planning for the laundry run in the morning and checking on our friends to see where they are. Robin and Barry are a day away from us. If the weather behaves, we should see them tomorrow. YAY!!!!
