A beautiful day to pick up anchor and move back down the Abaco Sea towards Little Harbor, home to Pete’s Pub. We had agreed to stop along the way at Tilloo Pond.
Tilloo Pond is a pond near the cut that is home to many a turtle. We took our dinghy back and watched them swimming to and fro effortlessly. They were entertaining us as we turned the dinghy motor off we would wait to see one pass by slowly and then swim away fast when he saw us. What a great place to stop for a bit.
Then we headed on down to Pete’s Pub. We took a mooring inside the harbor as our dinghy doesn’t handle four folks well and it would have been a long trip if we stayed outside the harbor.
Once on shore we head to the gallery where Pete’s artwork (brass sculptures) is displayed and browse a bit. Then we head into the pub where we would grab a table and enjoy the rest of the afternoon watching folks and reading the various items hung up on the beams. Pete’s is quite entertaining and they now have set up swings in the water with lines attached to pilings with wooden seats. Lynn and I enjoyed our beverage out on the swings in the water. Great time to relax!
We stayed for an early dinner before heading back to Ti Amo. Jaxon was worn out as he had two boys and a little girl all the same ages as our grandchildren to play with the majority of the day.
Another great day in the Bahamas!
