Back to Marsh Harbor

16 April 2019 | Marsh Harbor, Abacos, Bahamas

The end of this trip with Thom and Lynn is nearing as we must return to Marsh Harbor for their flight departure. We are headed into the wind and it is strong and steady at 20 knots. We stop just beyond Marsh Harbor at the Mermaid Reef snorkeling hole with hopes of snorkeling, but the current is pretty strong and the reef has quite a few boats around. While short lived, we make get back on Ti Amo and head into the Marsh Harbor anchorage.

The winds are kicking up to 30 knots again as we enter the anchorage and try to find our place amongst the many boats. With precision we put Ti Amo right in the middle of about five boats where there was a spot just waiting to be had. Great job on the captains part for finding such a great hole.

With this being our last night together we decide to have early appys and then enjoy the last four lobster tails together along with an orzo salad. Delightful evening and very relaxed. Thom as been a trooper as he has been sick all week but hung in like a champ.

Tomorrow they will head home But today we plan for the next adventure with the Clinefelter’s either in the BVI’s or in the Exumas.
