It is hard to believe that we are approaching our fourth departure for the Bahamas. We made the decision to go again this year to the Bahamas sometime in July. We toyed with going to the BVI's but found that the Bahamas are less restrictive with our youngest crew member entering and exiting their country.
So with the decision made we have been busy getting the boat hauled out and the bottom painted, getting our furling drum rebuilt, new settee cushions, new sport a seats, new interior lights, fuel tanks scrubbed, new inline fuel filters added and a few little extra items to make Ti Amo “shine”.
As you can see we have been busy stowing our provisions. We had a full day of rain that allowed us to sit on the boat and work it all out. It is truly one of the more stressful jobs of “getting ready”, and it is done. Next will be the clothes, then the freezer items and lastly refrigeration items. We are farther along than we thought we would be, and now have a few days to breathe, say goodbyes and wait!
As always, I hope to keep updating with blog posts, but don’t fear if you don’t hear for a couple of days or maybe longer. We are just busy having fun!
