A Day At Sea?

With the weather window open for the next couple of days we felt we should move on a little farther toward our destination of Key Largo.
The exit from the Matanzas River was so easy and it was not too long before the captain hoisted the sails. It was a lovely day to be on the water. We had bid farewell to 2 Outrageous on our way out and we set our sites on Fort Pierce.
We diligently try to stick to a watch schedule, but it is difficult when the captain cannot rest. There is so much on their minds and things to check while underway. Calculations of fuel consumption of course is always a concern since the last fill up was at Great Bridge and we have motored just about the entire way. At last calculation we will make Key Largo with what we have and fill up there.
The sun is setting and it is truly hard to capture the beauty in the sky. With morning we will make our decision as to whether to go in at Fort Pierce or continue on to Lake Worth or Fort Lauderdale.
Time for my watch to end.
