With the thought of crossing into the Bahamas this year with our pup who was illegal last year at the age of 6 months, we are able to get him straight and paperwork secured this year. Thanks to the Island Hammock Veterinary Hospital for fitting us in and completing the paperwork sent by the Bahamian government. He was a trooper and loved Dr. Edwards and the Vet Tech as well.
We decided to grab a bite of lunch while we were out and went to Hog Heaven. We had been there in prior years and knew we would enjoy the view. Their fish and shrimp tacos are pretty decent.
We enjoyed doing a little window shopping at a couple of stores and then returned to Ti Amo for a few minor chores. We also had plans with Ed and Mari-Etta to go to dinner at Mile Marker 88 for dinner. Mari-Etta’s brother and his wife are in town so they joined us as well. It was delightful sitting on the bay side and watching the sun set. Another delicious fish dinner in the quaint Islamorada Key. Most restaurants are dog friendly so Jaxon and Good Girl Pearl enjoyed being out for dinner as well.
Boaters bedtime is fast approaching as we make our way back to Ti Amo. Ed and Mari-Etta are such lovely folks. We are hoping to get a ride on their pontoon boat if the weather permits this week. Oh well.....time to call it a night.
