How many times can you listen to the weather or look at the forecasts before going crazy? Well that is all we did yesterday after Jen’s 0500 departure. We are looking for the opportunity to cross to the Bahamas this week if possible. We have BOUY Weather, NOAA Weather, Predict Wind, Windy and of course Chris Parker. There seems to be a hint of an ability Tuesday afternoon and getting into be Bahamas by day break on Wednesday. We elect to hold on to that thought for the day and await Chris Parker’s forecast early in the morning.
We take Jaxon on a small walk around the block.....one walk we have done several times. Each time I take this path, I am amazed at all the beautiful flowering plants. It is a tiring walk for our four legged friend. Greg has to carry him part of the way to give him a little break.
Back at Ti Amo and Greg is planning his evening of football but not before we invite Ryan (one of the folks we met the first evening here) over for a beer. Ryan is a cruiser but also a marine mechanic of sorts. He worked for Shell Oil most of his life but has found in “retirement” that his skills and knowledge in boat repair afford him an opportunity to work when he wants to help fuel the retirement bank. It was great to hear his stories and learn of the places he had visited.
Off to watch the Eagles and get a light dinner. It will be early to bed tonight so we can be up early to listen to Chris Parkers forecast.
